After super mega full buffet lunch, even the breakfast was not processed out of my system… we were given free cheese tasting in the factory. Wine Cheddar (made of Furano wine and fresh milk), milky " Maison de Pierre", and "Sepia" made of fresh milk and squid ink. 墨鱼汁奶酪
We did not get to see the process of cheese making in the factory, because our tour guide just brought us up to the 2nd floor. As I was doing research to recall my trip then I realised there were actually a walk-through of the cheese making process at the 1st floor. However we got to enjoy the display of cheese making models and the history of it… and some irrelevant but cute art works as well.
3:00pm Next stop, Chateau Furano Wine Factory… This time was free wine tasting…
Remember to come back to Hokkaido in the year 2104 for the opening of this barrel of wine which was labelled to be sealed for 100 years~

After we walked through the wine factory’s cellar, we queued up with many other tourists for some wine tasting. It was pretty crowded. Lavender wine was their specialty here… must try~!
There were memorabilias of little huts made of wine corks… very fine art work.
4:00pm It began to drizzle. We were worried that we would be unable to perform our next activity… which was eating again~!!!! After a 15-minute wait, the rain stopped. This time we were arranged to enter a cherry farm to self-pick cherries.
准备采樱桃了~ Kenro桑说没有采5公斤的明天没有早餐吃。我心想今天都快把我给撑死了,从早到现在还在吃吃喝喝,没早餐对我来说也没关系……
园区负责人来给我们讲解一些注意事项后我们就一人拿着一个塑料盒进入。园内任你吃,只有采收的樱桃以公斤计算。
大家都以为越红的越甜……错啦~!!!

At first we thought the ripest, the most reddish cherries should be the sweetest, but later we found out actually the sweetest was in this colour.--->>
5:30pm We all got a bagful of cherries and now it was time to head off to Yubari (夕張), where they were famous for their coal mine and rock melon…
7:00pm We reached the hotel that we were going stay in for the night.

6th BUFFET in this tour~! This was too much… even if it was food from heaven, I started to feel sick… but this is the hometown for Hokkaido’s famous rock melons! So we came out with a strategy… eat nothing but attack only the rock melons, because this was considered as one of the most expensive food/fruit in the whole dining area… and it was fruits, should help whatever indigestion. My family almost cleared the whole tray of the displayed rock melons.
We bought the lavender soda pop earlier during our garden hopping in Farm Tomita, recommended by our tour guide, Kenro-san. It seemed to be still maintaining a traditional bottling design where there was a glass marble ball stuffed at the bottle neck as a cap. The glass marble acts as a unique cap, keeping the soda closed, and the liquid inside carbonated. When it's released the marble falls into a specially designed chamber. It was a huge challenge for us to try to open it for a drink.
薰衣草口味彈珠汽水……但是没开过这种弹珠塞在瓶口的汽水,真的是一大挑战。记得要在富田农场那里买一瓶来试试。

After the mega attack on the all you can eat rock melons and the mega struggle on the opening of the soda pop bottle (I think we only managed to open one after 2 hours)….
then we changed into Yukata and hop into the hot spring within the hotel building.
This was definitely a “weight gain” trip…
