Eating out is always a problem for me.. as mum and I have a really sensitive taste bud.

Stroll into the Sunway Carnival Mall at Seberang Perai, Penang.  We headed toward a place where we never forget the flavor and its unique atmosphere, Winter Warmers…

It’s in the heart of a busy street but they still manage to settle our senses.. tranquility is what we need.

Tuna waffles.

I ordered a Dinner set RM15.90 which include a pot of which ever tea on the menu, a plate of waffles and a salad.

Yummy but it’s a light dish, not filling and not really a dish that i will order again.  I might try other flavored waffles next time… there’s smoked chicken waffle or egg and veggie waffle yet to try…

<--- RM7.90 Promotion meal, chicken cheese bake pasta… but it’s only half of the portion of the actual meal.  Shallow dish.. not much to fill your tummy as well.  I would rather order RM14.90 Chicken cheese bake pasta from the menu.

Top up with cream, mint and chocolate…

I’m not a sweet tooth so without adding anymore sugar, the flavor itself is good enough.

Tuna cheese Baked (spicy) RM15.90
Macaroni baked with tuna, with curry flavor and topped with mozzarella cheese.  Comes with the pasta salad and fresh tomato with dashed of pepper and vinegar.  Not really spicy for me, the taste is like the combination of east and west.  I like the side dish especially the tomato… never know that the vinegar can go so well with the fresh tomatoes.

Being indulge in a nice cheesy flavor, flower herbal tea aroma and the nice English setting, we went there the next day again, had our dinner before we set out 400km journey back home.
 


<---RM7.90 or 8.90 i can’t remember… It’s a promotion meal as well.  But these meals are always there, just more economical than stuffs in menu.  This one is more filling than the small baked pasta.  And the sauce is finely mix with well cut bell pepper swimming in it…

Baked pasta is surely a must to order in winter warmer.  We still prefer the Seafood Cheese Bake, served with tomato dips and pasta garden as well.  I love their generosity on cheese… yum yum…

Although there’s few branches around Malaysia but the one in Sunway Pyramid is still not a place that i want to go again.  There’s still different in quality of food, maybe the freshness of the ingredient or even the technique of the cook.  I don’t know about the other branches of Winter Warmers but If you want to eat real Winter Warmers’ food, do drop by Seberang Perai’s Sunway Carnival Mall.

Brought back some herbal teabags and continue indulge the flowery aroma at home.
